Your Hosts – Tom & Josef
Like most good things, Casa del Aljibe began unplanned. In 2020, we escaped to Lanzarote in search of space and sunlight, but Mácher refused to let us leave. Josef now lives on the island year-round, caring for the villa and adding the personal touch that make a stay special. Tom works in Austria, but he never stays away for long. This is our place, and yours when you're here.

Is the pool heated year-round?
Yes. The pool is heated to approximately 27 °C throughout the year, including winter months. Swimming is comfortable even in December and January.
How many guests does the villa sleep?
The villa sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has twin beds that can be configured as a double. A baby cot is available on request.
Can I book directly without using Airbnb or Booking.com?

Is the villa suitable for guests with reduced mobility?
The villa has barrier-free access on the ground floor, including the living area, kitchen, pool terrace and one bathroom. It is suitable for guests with reduced mobility, though it is not fully wheelchair-adapted in all areas.
Is there private parking and WiFi?
Yes. The villa has free private parking directly at the property, with space for one car. Free WiFi is available throughout the villa.
How far is the villa from the nearest beach?
The nearest beach, Playa Chica in Puerto del Carmen, is approximately 8 minutes by car. The Papagayo beaches at the southern tip of the island are about 30 minutes away.

The villa is in Mácher, a quiet village in the south of Lanzarote, in the municipality of Tías. Mácher is 10 minutes from the airport, 8 minutes from Puerto del Carmen and centrally located for exploring the entire island.
